Our People & Places team is looking for an awesome People Business Partner to support and inspire the leaders of our Advertising, Sales, Creative, and Marketing teams in reaching their business goals and taking care of their wonderful teams. In this role, you’ll lend your expertise to every corner of HR, from operations to strategy, collaborating with our passionate People ops, Employee experience, Recruitment, and Compensation & benefits teams. What this role is about:

  • Partner with leadership and management teams to support, influence and guide in all matters related to the people's strategy and policy. Including but not limited to; retention, compensation, engagement, performance, talent development, organizational design, leadership coaching, DEI, and recruitment. 

  • Collaborate closely with senior management to drive organizational effectiveness through various HR initiatives that enhance the delivery of the business units’ strategic objectives.

  • Advice on optimal organization design, role design, and workforce planning, while leading and driving change across the business when needed. 

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute strategic people projects across the organization including tracking and reporting on status, risks, issues, and dependencies. These projects are rolled out globally across the organization. 

  • Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of HR trends and technologies to provide insights and suggestions to enhance the impact our people team can make. 

  • Support the effectiveness of annual people processes, including performance and compensation reviews,  performance calibration, talent, and succession planning. 

  • Partner with the wider people team to create and execute the People strategy, leading various projects that enable WeTransfer’s employees to do their best work. 

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues as required. 

 

What skills we are looking for:

  • Experience as a People Business Partner in medium-sized organizations—influencing across multiple locations, business units, and different levels of leadership. Familiarity with the advertising or creative industry is a plus.

  • At least 5 years of solid experience in progressive HR, including change management, organizational design, and talent development.

  • Detailed understanding and interest in the entire spectrum of HR, especially in performance management, talent development, employment relations, and leadership culture.

  • Proficient knowledge of employment law in one or more of the following countries: NL/UK/France.

  • Proven project management skills to be able to oversee and lead people projects.

  • Experience in facilitating and navigating tough conversations with assertiveness, voicing advice when needed.

  • Familiarity with a dynamic environment with the ability to switch between operational, tactical, and strategic people initiatives.

  • Expert coaching and influencing skills with the ability to speak up and constructively challenge managers while also being open to new perspectives.
