Hi There! We’re looking for a People Generalist who can help our managers effectively lead, develop, and support their teams. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for providing people and policy advice and facilitating HR projects and activities. You'll be our linking pin between the People Partners and the People Operations Specialists while taking care of a small department as their awesome business partner. And to round this all up into an even more impactful role: you'll also be our expert in all matters related to Employee Relations, responsible for creating policies and keeping the team informed of legislative updates. Are you proud of your communication skills, your attention to detail, and are you motivated to make a positive impact? Then we would love to hear from you!

What this role is about:

  • Use expert stakeholder management and initiative to solve people related problems with innovative and modern solutions.

  • Work closely with managers on employee relations and sickness cases that vary in complexity, with support from the HRBP where necessary.

  • Use expert knowledge to give guidance on reintegration and return to work cases.

  • Contribute to the professional development of our manager population by promoting various policies and programmes at WeTransfer.

  • Participate in and support the team with key initiatives such as our performance management cycles, contractor/freelancer relations and compliance documents.

  • Proactively share trends and escalate issues to the HRBP’s. Be the trusted HR Business Partner to a small, operational business unit.

  • Prepare reports of data results, present and explain findings to the business.

  • Provide timely coaching and advice to managers and team members across our multiple locations (UK/NL/US/FR), in all areas of HR including but not limited to; sickness and absence, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, remuneration and career development.

  • Review, track, and document compliance with local labour law and regulations and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.

  • Monitor and advise on team processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Act as the linking pin between the business and People team.

  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

What skills are we looking for:

  • Either a qualification in Human Resources or proven experience as an HR advisor or generalist.

  • Experience implementing and delivering impactful projects and programs.

  • Experience in all aspects of employee relations, including medical-related absence, return to work, performance management, and conflict.

  • Experience in Data analytics.

  • Relevant knowledge and experience of local labour law and employment regulations in at least 2 of the following locations: UK, Netherlands, US or France.

  • Experience with Workday and an interest in analytics would be a plus.

  • Active listener, willing to learn and develop, while comfortably facilitating and handling tough conversations.

  • Ability to build rapport, make others feel comfortable and valued, and not be afraid to voice advice and ideas.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
