WePresent is WeTransfer’s digital arts platform, acting as the company’s cultural torchbearer to a monthly audience of 3 million in 190 countries. Collaborating with emerging young talent to renowned artists such as Marina Abramovic, Riz Ahmed, FKA twigs and David Sedaris, WePresent showcases the best in art, photography, film, music, literature and more, championing diversity in everything it does. The platform’s commissions range from editorial features to films, illustrations, photography series, events, exhibitions and social media activations, with an aim to offer a fresh take on the magic and mystery of creative ideas. 

The Role

WePresent is seeking a Social Media Content Producer to work with the WePresent team. The role entails creating platform specific day-to-day social media content across video, text and imagery as well working with in-house teams and artists to create social first content specific to campaigns and commissions with the aim of strengthening WePresent’s brand and platform and building new, engaged audiences. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, confident content creator adept at creating engaging social first work while understanding analytics and platform needs in order to grow an engaged audience. 

Responsibilities

• Own the creation and distribution of all WePresent social media content across Instagram, TikTok and other relevant channels

• Own and communicate the monthly social media content calendar including daily posting, recurring series and major content moments

• Create content for social media amplification

• Support the audience development manager in creating monthly reports charting successes, learnings and growth of platforms

• Serve as a project manager between departments for key projects across all social media platforms

• Manage and maintain social partnerships with creators and platforms that align with WePresent brand

• Live post events on social networks where applicable and be the voice of WePresent across social 

• Maintain social best practices for WePresent tone of voice, and video and visual assets 

• Be responsible for the community management of WePresent’s social channels

• Innovate with new social video and formats to stay ahead of the ever-changing media landscape

Skills required

• Relevant experience as a content creator preferably in a publication, digital or arts media 

• Be a confident communicator with strong writing, visual and content creation skills

• Be technically confident with various social platforms and have knowledge of platform updates, changes and algorithms necessary to grow audiences

• An understanding of social media analytics and the ability to accurately report and pivot content to reflect data

• Skills in video and image editing including proficiency in Adobe package (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.) 

• Interest in social issues and a good understanding of online conversations and popular trends among creatives 

• Previous publisher TikTok experience preferred

• Creativity and the ability to ideate and create personality-led, engaging social first content series

• An eye for what is trending in the social world and a curiosity for what is emerging

• A proactive and positive attitude. A talent for creative solutions, creativity and experimentation

• Fluency in English is a must
