We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Head of Operations (Software) to lead our team in Cebu


Job Title: Head of Operations, Cebu

Job Overview

The Head of Operations is responsible for leading, managing and delivering the business results of a multidisciplinary technical team of resources across the full range of AMCS solutions globally. AMCS is experiencing significant growth globally and is seeking a dynamic leader to help support this growth.


Key Responsibilities

·Oversee the activities of a multidisciplinary technical team providing a range of software engineering activities to support our Global Customers.

·Address any local obstacles to ensuring on-time completion of projects while ensuring quality delivery of all services with best practice engineering principles.

·Manage and develop the team including vendors and remote workers, supporting different time zones. This will involve responsibility for selection, mentoring, coaching, teambuilding, and performance management including reward and recognition.

·Ensure the availability and development of the capacity and capability needed to meet current and future projects

·Work in close collaboration with Product Management, Software Development, DevOps and Customer Delivery teams to ensure Best Practice in the delivery of the AMCS solution globally.

·University liaison etc…. build employer brand, employee retention /employer of choice for Software Engineering

·Embrace and promote knowledge management amongst the team – harvesting, proliferation of best practices.

·Manage Day-to-Day operations in the region liaising with global leadership and support functions to ensure smooth operations

·Adhere to AMCS Policies of Code of Conduct/Ethics; Security and required

· Drive employee development through AMCS Academy, Pluralsight etc. certifications


Education & Work Experience

·5 years’ experience operating in a global technical leadership role in a fast-paced Software company

·Primary degree in Software Engineering or related discipline

·Proven record of accomplishment in delivering and supporting significant projects to customers both large and small

·Excellent leadership and communication skills with an ability to inspire technical teams across a global organization while understanding and appreciating cultural differences.

·Excellent presentation and listening skill

·Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, exciting environment

Physical attributes noted: an employee must have to perform the job duties with or without a reasonable accommodation. The role will be based in our Cebu office but travel both domestically and internationally may account for 20% of the time.
