Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer in Test to play a significant role in the company. The candidate should be heavily motivated by the product and experienced in Software development, testing, and DevOps activities.

As part of the Application Experience team, you will lead the testing, DevOps, and quality-related activities by proactively raising issues, creating tasks that need to be implemented by the team, and working closely with Quality Engineering and other teams in testing and DevOps-related aspects.

  • Provide guidance in terms of QA to the software development teams. Participate actively in the implementation of automation framework and increase the automation test coverage (component, integration, E2E, pact, among others)
  • Actively discuss with the Product Manager to design the acceptance criteria and to prepare ahead of test execution, test plan, and automation scripts
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Engineering and the QA community to align on the testing strategy and best practices
  • Select and assess proper testing tools and utilities
  • Write code to automate the testing of new and existing features
  • Run manual and automated regression tests
  • Contribute to handling third-level support cases and manage the issue resolution process
  • Analyze performance bottlenecks and stability issues
  • Participate in the product release delivery process
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in software testing
  • Deep expertise in test automation (in any programming language, Python is a big plus)
  • Ability to use test frameworks (Selenium is a plus)
  • Confident with coding and scripting in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, bash etc.)
  • Exposure to DevOps: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
  • Experience in Agile environment is a must
  • Teamwork and collaboration are part of your DNA
  • Strong motivation for complex challenges and learning new technologies
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
