Corporate Accounting Manager
Jellysmack is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join our corporate accounting team. This individual will be responsible for leading the subsidiary accounting team, working closely with corporate peers and managing the day-to-day corporate accounting processes, including financial reporting, implementation of best practices and internal controls.
What you can expect
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the local accounting department, work closely with the global team to ensure alignment in reporting as well as providing business support as required.
- Implement and document new accounting standards or changes to accounting policies as per IFRS and US GAAP.
- Provide oversight over various activities including treasury, accounts payable, payroll, general accounting, revenue recognition and financial reporting.
- Lead the month-end/year-end close process, through thorough review of accounting records, flux analyses and adoption of new accounting standards and procedures.
- Support the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, including adjustments to US GAAP.
- Support the annual audit process and investor reporting requirements as needed
- Establish and maintain the internal control framework in preparation towards future public company requirements.
- Manage the statutory reporting requirements and tax compliance of the EU entities.
A little about you
- Certified Public Accountants (Big-4), holding Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 3yrs of supervisory experience, preferably in a global hyper-growth environment
- Strong understanding of Accounting and Finance principles, including IFRS, US GAAP and EU tax regulation (FR, UK)
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with comprehensive view and attention to details.
- Experience in analyzing large amount of data and ability to simplify processes in high level of efficiency.
- A great multi-tasker with excellent judgment and the ability to prioritize as necessary to effectively meet deadlines while keeping high quality of deliverables.
- Preferred experience with implementation of Netsuite or other Tier 1 ERP Systems
