Senior Backend Developer

The role

As a direct-to-consumer and digital-first business, our engineering team are crucial to our online success. Our team handles millions of requests every week and ensures our Hueligans in countries all over the world have an exceptional online experience.

To help us ensure we stay at the top of our game, we are looking for a new Senior Backend Developer to join our team. You’ll spend your days helping us continue our digital transformation, working collaboratively on a diverse range of projects that span across all areas of the business, both internally and in customer-facing. 

We’ll get you up to speed on, Microservice architecture, AWS Lambda and other serverless technologies, GraphQL, Event sourcing, Building integrations with payment gateway services (Stripe/Braintree) and DevOps too🚀.

What we're looking for in you

We’re not expecting you to know everything, but we will need someone who is comfortable building applications in modern web technologies.

You’ll have to have knowledge and a few years of experience working with any of the following backend technologies 👉 PHP (using Laravel framework )/ NodeJS /Go, and you'll already have experience with AWS (Ideally Lambda) and MongoDB.
