We have an opportunity for a Development Assistant Producer/Midweight Creative with a knowledge of cycling to join our Zwift Productions team.

We are Zwift’s in-house editorial content studio and we develop, produce and distribute video and audio content that creates deeper engagement with Zwift.  Our output includes live coverage of Zwift esports events, magazine programming, podcasts, how-to videos and documentaries which unpack the Zwift product and tell stories of the Zwift community. Our content lives on Zwift owned platforms, as well as TV networks and media partners around the world.  We have two studio spaces in the UK (London & Edinburgh) and a global network of filmmakers which enables us to produce much of our content in-house.

We are seeking a skilled Development AP with experience in TV and branded content to work closely with the Director of Content & Production across our whole slate of long and short form content.  We are a small team which scales to fit the size of projects and this role is a key part of our growth in being able to build a creative centre of production excellence inside an exciting company with big plans.

What you'll do:

  • You’ll support the Director of Content & Production with development across our content portfolio, taking briefs from existing Zwift projects such as Zwift Academy and the World of Zwift weekly show, and also developing completely new projects that deliver on our objective of driving engagement with Zwift
  • As such, you’ll be as comfortable creating and working up new ideas to a brief as you will be building out existing propositions
  • Writing engaging treatments and pitch decks and selling them to internal and external stakeholders
  • Creation of the occasional sizzle reel with our in-house edit team
  • Archive research and casting

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in broadcast TV and/or branded content
  • Experience developing both long and short form content
  • Experience in the worlds of sports, sports marketing or developing content for sports brands
  • Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously and manage multiple internal & external stakeholders
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organisation skills

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of the cycling industry/broadcast landscape
  • Entertainment, music or documentary experience
  • Shooting/editing experience would be beneficial

How to stand out among the rest:

Your resume/CV is enough to show off your skills, accomplishments, and experience. However, if you choose to include a cover letter introducing us to your awesome personality, we will read that too.

Values:

Of course, we are nothing without our values. Our values ground us. They ensure we run and build a company where people love to work, feel like they are welcomed, included, and belong.  Only then can they thrive and do their best work.  The values we strive to live every day are:
