Do you want to make a positive impact on people's health, work in a company with a flat hierarchy and on test automation of applications in C++? Then we are looking for you to join us as a C++ Engineer in Test in our Munich team! Our cross functional team develops the application for our connected fitness equipment and backend services. Our aim is to improve the gym experience for everyone by providing effective training plans and motivating training visualization.


  • You work as part of a team, taking responsibility for various tasks including expanding our test automation effort and including it as part of our value stream
  • You design, develop, and implement new tests and tools for our smart devices 
  • You collaborate with Product Managers and development teams to understand how new and existing features should be tested 
  • You implement new features and streamline existing systems, collaborating closely with colleagues of various fields (including sports science, electrical engineering, firmware, and site reliability engineering)

YOUR FITNESS LEVEL
  • You are passionate about modern C++, Linux, and ideally a UI framework, with embedded or desktop applications, and open to trying out new technologies in the future
  • You are a good mentor and teach other developers to write better tests 
  • You have worked with Continuous Integration systems and build tooling
  • You are capable of optimizing Continuous Integration systems regarding test execution (e.g. running tests in parallel, data creation etc.)
  • You are familiar with the testing pyramid, chaos engineering and load testing as well as introduction these concepts to CI/CD

YOUR TRAINING GOAL FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS
  • You took ownership of the software powering our heads up displays; you understand their architecture, deliver on product requirements and features, with deep focus on improving testability and functionality
  • You provided guidance to other engineers and deliver feedback in a constructive manner
  • You are able to participate in our service duty rotation; supporting the service team with any issues that are reported in the field during a business day
  • You familiarized yourself with the EGYM ecosystem and the role of the different teams in the software engineering department
