In your role as a EUC Technician you will work as part of the wider IT Team to support our users and manage and maintain our IT Services.

You will primarily support our UK offices, as well as providing support to remote workers and other Featurespace locations. You will be supporting users of varying skill levels and across a range of devices. Windows 10, Linux (Ubuntu) and Apple Mac.

You will be responsible for the lifecycle of End User devices, building images for deploying End User devices, ensuring machines are compliant with patches, supporting application deployment to End User devices, resolving issues, involved in hardware asset tasks and sharing information with the Service Desk team on process and policy.

This role will be based in our Cambridge office with some occasional travel to our other office locations.

 
 

Day to Day

  • Responsible for of End User Computer (EUC) devices supporting Windows, Linux, Mac OS and iOS
  • Supporting application deployment to End User devices and contributing to written policies on device and application security
  • Creating and using scripts in Powershell, AD Group Policy and Bash, to automate processes and improve end user experience
  • Deploy Windows Patches and Application updates to End User Windows estate
  • Generating reports from Endpoint management and Patching Solutions to ensure all machines are compliant with policies including device encryption, sharing findings with ServiceDesk Manager and Licence and Asset Manager
  • Working with end users to troubleshoot any issues with application installations, applying patches including firmware, creating clear end user communications, and supporting documentation
  • Continuous improvement of established process to build and test images for Windows, Linux and Mac End User Devices, including updating documentation and regularly sharing information with Service Desk team
  • Imaging machines for team to deploy to end users
  • Participating in Hardware Asset tasks, such as machine specifications, desk set-ups and disposal
  • Working on Service Desk tickets for End Users supporting a range of systems
