MISSION
 
Product analysts’ mission is to support a product line on the whole product lifecycle (from discovery to performance monitoring) through data analysis and data experimentation.
The product analyst works closely with the Product Trio (PM, UX designer, Tech Lead)  and is able to report on the line performance to the management (head of Product / CPO).

Support his/her product line (80% of the time) :

      • Participate in the discovery phase:
 
      • Provide ad hoc analysis to the Product trio:  Analyse user behaviour on the platform to understand and quantify customers' struggles 
      • Help the product team design opportunity and solution trees based on data
      • Feed the product trio with data to prioritise the best opportunities 
      • Participate in the solutions’ ideation
      • Experiment : Develop proof of concept prototypes with Contentsquare data to assess the feasibility, desirability and viability of a solution before industrialisation
 
      • Participate to the performance monitoring of a product line:
 
    • Monitor the performance of the product unit over time 
    • Create automated dashboards 
    • Align with stakeholders on key success metrics 
    • Review tracking specifications before a release
    • Make sure key success metrics  will be easily and frequently measurable (automated dashboards) 

Contribute to product strategy research (20% of the time):

    • Product strategy owns and evolves the Contentsquare product vision (3 to 5 years). Product strategy makes sure the product strategy (1 year priorities) is aligned with Contentsquare business goals i.e. that the product lines are chasing the right outcome. 
    • Product analyst contributes to adhoc analysis to uncover new opportunities at a vision and a strategy level.

Requirements:

    • 3+ years experience in data analysis 
    • Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), and Python
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, rigour
    • Can speak and write fluent professional English
    • Can work fast and handle tight deadlines

Nice to Have:

    • E-commerce expertise: you have worked in an e-commerce environment 
    • Experience  using Web Performance Monitoring tools
    • A good understanding of front-end web standards (HTTP, HTML, JS, CSS) and web performance optimization and a strong interest in technology, software, and the Internet
    • An extensive knowledge of how web browsers work
