Head of Talent

We are now looking for an experienced talent professional to lead our Talent Team and shape our talent strategy for 2023 and beyond. In this role, you will lead a team of 5 people who work on initiatives ranging from talent management,  leadership development and employee engagement and to onboarding. 

Responsibilities

• Build a holistic, integrated talent strategy that identifies, grows and promotes talent within GetYourGuide and includes promotions, succession planning, talent development and organizational design
• Build and lead a scalable talent review mechanism to grow and retain our talent
• Develop and drive our learning and development strategy, including ownership of our budget for training and learning initiatives
• Own the global employee onboarding and engagement framework, and continuously develop it further to create unforgettable work experiences
• Build out our org design function and provide compelling frameworks on competencies, job levels and organizational structures across the organization
• Lead a team of Talent Development Specialists, drive high engagement and performance, and provide learning and growth opportunities for your team
• Be part of the People Leadership Team and work closely with the Chief People Officer, People Operations and Talent Acquisition for cross-team projects

Your profile

• You’re an experienced leader in the Talent field, ideally with a background in fast-paced, technology-focused environments
• Managing people is your passion and strong suit
• You have strong expertise Talent Management & Development and Organizational Design, and are well connected in the industry
• You thrive in an environment that is highly ambitious and driven, and at the same time focused on creating a supportive and inclusive culture
• You work very hands-on and are happy to switch between operational and strategic work depending on business needs
• Your role requires frequent engagement with senior leadership and you have a proven ability to influence others.
