The Opportunity

As our Communications Executive your mission is to help build and protect Featurespace’s international reputation as a leader in machine learning technology, and further ARIC™Risk Hub positioning as the most valued and respected anti-fraud and financial crime solution globally.

You will be joining our international Communications and Marketing team at an exciting time, as we continue to expand into new markets, supporting an increasing list of financial institutions in the fight against fraud and financial crime.

This role can be based in either our Cambridge or London offices. This is a hybrid role so you will ideally be comfortable coming into the office at least once a week. If you’re interested in the role but require more flexibility, please speak to us!

Day to Day

You will lead on advancing Featurespace’s PR and communications strategy across all markets including target audiences and outlets, maintaining the forward editorial calendar, cultivating journalist relationships, drafting media statements, managing launches and announcements, and achieving media coverage. You will be an independent, creative thinker, able to find smart ways to project our stories around technology, innovation, customer success and industry leadership.

You will be responsible for developing media relationships that drive senior executive engagement and interviews, to improve media understanding and appreciation of the value that Featurespace’s award winning machine learning technology brings to the market, and to identify opportunities to drive authentic coverage for Featurespace.

Writing and developing creative and engaging messaging for press releases, talking points, social media, media statements, op-eds and internal announcements will be central to the role; as will securing reputational awards, measuring share of voice and sentiment. Here you’ll be expected to ensure alignment of messages across the business, exciting and empowering colleagues to advocate on our behalf.

To do this, we’d like you to have media handling experience and relevant agency or sector experience. You’ll be a ‘disciplined creative’ who speaks up, challenges ideas, and enjoys working collaboratively with other teams. We’re looking for an ambitious, motivated person who wants to grow with us.
