Our organization

Deepki's technical team is organized into several development teams, a Head of Product, a VP Engineering, Product Managers, UI/UX designers and a data science/R&D team. We are building a SRE team to help us scale our Operation needs and continuous improvement.

As our main SRE Engineer, you will help our development teams deliver quality software, scale our platform according to Deepki needs, measure and monitor our performance, anticipate the business needs and developers needs.

Under the direction of our CTO, you will also be responsible for building and managing the SRE team. We will also need you to challenge and advise the development teams on security, performance and reliability issues.

Missions

• Build and maintain our platform and deployment processes, help build a more efficient and more resilient platform

• Build and maintain our monitoring / alerting system

• Be at the service of the development teams for their tooling, including CI/CD

• Have an eye on our operations costs (FinOps)

• Anticipate and build our operational and technical roadmap

• Collaborate with all stakeholders to collectively converge towards the best product on our market

• Be proactive in many areas (technical, tooling and organizational choices) and have an impact within your team

Must-have skills

• Excellent knowledge of automation tools (terraform, ansible)

• Excellent knowledge of AWS Cloud Platform

• Good knowledge of CI/CD tools (gitlab)

• Good knowledge of databases

• Good understanding of Product culture, Lean/agile methods, Devops mindset

• Fluent in French and operational in English

Nice to have skills

• Knowledge of MongoDB, Redis and/or InfluxDB

• Knowledge of RabbitMQ and an event-driven programming approach

• Knowledge of Docker

• Knowledge of programming languages (python, bash)

• Team spirit (working in a team requires the ability to communicate, to have empathy, to be able to convince and be convinced by others)

• Autonomy (we do not like micro-management and do not want to continually tell you what to do and how to do it)

• Interest in software quality: unit and functional testing, code review, software factory, documentation... (we are sensitive to the quality of what we produce)
