Learning and Development Specialist

We are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist who will support the Head of L&D and strategy at Modulr and the wider People team in design and branding.

This role will report into the Head of Learning and Development and provides the opportunity for an individual to have a genuine impact on our business and our people, who we call ‘Modulites’.

What you will be doing...

• Ensure that Modulites have access to growth and learning opportunities to drive high performance and enable them to achieve their goals
• Responsible for delivering the full cycle of L&D activities ensuring a high quality and efficient service
• Support managers in identifying training needs for all Modulites and conduct training needs analysis
• Support in the delivery and proposition of industry specific programmes in areas such as Payments, Sales and Product 
• Identify best in class programmes, such as newly promoted programmes, hi-potential, management development, D&I and team building events
• Design and delivery of leadership and manager training
• Maintain relationships with external vendors, internal People Partners and SMEs
• Support and administer our learning management system, ensuring that this is well utilised across the company
• Help to measure performance and value-add of all L&D initiatives against company metrics
• Support the wider team design materials, including employee and manager guides, digital communications, event presentations and video content
• Work closely with Head of Employee Engagement, Head of Content Marketing and Marketing Design team to ensure all programmes and materials are in line with internal and external brand.

Who you are...

• Ideally have experience in Financial Services, professional services or scale-up business 
• Learning product design skills
• Strong communication skills and superb attention to detail is a must
• Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
• Capacity to work efficiently and stay calm under pressure
• Ability to deal with confidential information
• The ability to work independently and problem solve effectively
• A flexible, can-do attitude with the ability to work to deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Good IT literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel, People systems) Adobe Creative Suite design skills and video production skills

Education & Experience 

• We value knowledge and experience - and so are more interested in finding out about your skills and expertise than your academic qualifications
• Have experience of building L&D programmes and products
• Understanding of the talent lifecycle from initial hiring to senior leader development and the key processes and governance
• Commercially minded people professional with a pragmatic approach.
