The role

We’re looking for an experienced community leader who will guide our team to manage and scale a thriving online community of travel influencers, who share GetYourGuide travel experiences with their audience. 

Our mission is to help the next generation of travel influencers generate value with their content by providing them with a range of exclusive membership benefits to promote their growth. In turn, we aim to scale and utilize the authentic content they share across the business. 

So if you’re a natural people manager with experience in developing communities, facilitating and distributing content at scale, and have an understanding of how to prioritise building the right products and tools to achieve supersonic growth, we definitely want to hear from you! 

Your responsibilities:

• Growth strategy: Working with Product and internal stakeholders to prioritise products, tools and processes that unblock community growth and fit the market need for the desired target group.
• Team management/ development: Managing and prioritizing tasks and responsibilities for a team of 6, including managing their professional development and taking ownership of performance reviews. 
• Project management: Leading process management to facilitate creator content delivery for distribution across various GetYourGuide content teams
• Creative strategy: Concepting and overseeing development of new creator opportunities and benefits that serve to elevate growth and engagement within the community
• Data collection and analysis: Analysing and reporting on core KPIs such as scale of members and content, business impact of content delivered across the business.

Examples of projects you would work on: 

An Original experience led by our Creators - lead the team who onboards content creators that host these original experiences

One of the GetYourGuide wishlists developed by our Creators - facilitate the cross-department process for building content libraries of visual, video and written content from our community

A new landing page to promote our unified Creator program - continue to build and evolve our creator partnership offerings with new tools and products

Who you are

• You have at least 5 years of experience in leadership/ people-management roles.
• You have excellent communication skills and can easily engage with our global community in English 
• You have a strong background in community management, ideally with content management experience.
• You are data-driven and can clearly and effortlessly analyse and report on business performance.
• You can craft and deliver short and long term growth and creative strategies whilst maintaining budgets and available resources
• You have successfully led large-scale, cross-team collaborative content projects.
• You are a true team player and empathic leader, who can lean into the skills and expertise of the team to deliver maximum impact 
• Influencer marketing experience is a big plus
• Product marketing experience is a big plus
