To do so, we need to strengthen our UX team even more. We are looking for an experienced UX leader to lead UX for a product area and work with Designers and Writers on crafting innovative and valuable solutions for our customers.
About the team
We are a multi-disciplinary team of Product Designers, UX Writers, and UX Researchers that are passionate about solving customer problems along the travel journey in an effective and delightful way. 
Our work is guided by strong principles that make our experience focus on value and feel simple, trustworthy, human, and unique. We collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure those principles are front and center in the features we develop.
Your responsibilities
  • Be the UX leader for a product area and co-develop the vision and strategy along with your Product and Engineering peers.
  • Provide support, guidance, and feedback to mission teams on their path to creating exceptional user experiences and ensure that what we release is meeting our standards and principles.
  • Build and grow a world-class team of UX contributors focused on serving the needs of our customers.
  • Work with UX leaders to evolve competency profiles and working practices that move us towards a strong working trifecta between Product, Engineering, and UX.
  • Work with UX leaders to develop and maintain guidelines, best practices, and standards, and systems that help us elevate our user experience and product quality and leverage the unique strengths of our UX disciplines.
  • Communicate broadly about important UX initiatives, together with UX leaders set the vision and strategy for the UX group that aligns UX Design, Research, and Writing.
Your background
  • You have experience managing multiple UX disciplines such as Design, Writing, or Research.
  • You have experience working within a Product company and influencing strategy and execution together with cross-functional partners from Product and Engineering.
  • You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, able to communicate the “why” to stakeholders.
  • You can find a meaningful balance between optimizing for speed, quality, and doing risky, but interesting work.
