The Team Culture

The Brand Partnership team’s primary goal is to help brands make more money with no additional effort. We combine the various capabilities of Jellysmack to create impressive brand-focused content. Creator led offerings range from original branded content to editorial integration to premium video alignment and performance marketing. For example, we partner up one of our content creators with a brand and use our data technology to create tailor made, optimized content that benefits both brand and creator. The Role

To complement its extensive programmatic advertising business, Jellysmack is seeking a best-in-class Director, Brand Partnerships with expertise in the West Coast territory to bring new marketers to the Jellysmack platform. This role includes new business prospecting and deal making, planning, product implementation/adoption and scaled product education on the company’s varied offerings on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and Youtube. This individual must be knowledgeable and experienced in the creator space, with the ability to be nimble and client directed when developing brand solutions.

The Responsibilities

JellySmack is committed to building a unique performance driven sales capability as a core revenue engine for the company. This role will have deep experience selling data driven and creative-led partnerships.

Ideally, this person will also have experience monetizing on social platforms. The ideal candidate will have also had start up experience in the digital media space and a track record of success growing a brand partnership business. This person is a business builder with the maturity and independence to forecast their business, help install processes and bring industry best practices to Jellysmack.


A Little About You

  • 7+ years of brand partnership sales, specifically in the creator space, with experience and relationships in the west coast market
  • You possess the creativity, leadership and problem solving skills required to help build a direct performance advertising sales business from the ground up.
  • You can help build a best in class sales support team designed to serve the unique needs of high volume performance/acquisition focused brands.
  • You have experience selling seven figure creator led campaigns to major brands.
  • You have strong relationships in the entertainment space and with the top west coast marketers.
  • You have a track record of meeting/exceeding mutually agreed upon revenue goals on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis across digital channels (experience with performance driven digital video a plus).
  • You are familiar with best practices for internal teams across the data driven sales process including client outreach and negotiation, testing, campaign management, analytics and optimization.
  • You are experienced with the data sets required to successfully build digital media campaigns (social platform monetization experience a plus)
  • You have good instincts for positioning and storytelling in the creator media space
  • You have working knowledge of the use of original video to drive data based outcomes in gaming and entertainment
  • You have exceptional client relationship and communication skills
  • You have a “Win-Win” attitude with a hunger to meet and exceed goals
  • You have a philosophy of flawlessly managing client relationships and programs to meet or exceed agreed goals and KPIs
  • You are relentless in your pursuit of generating new business opportunities and cultivating high level relationships that accelerate revenue growth
  • You have a current book of business that you could tap immediately
  • You have experience with platform media sales
