Do you love working with loads of interesting data? Are you excited to apply your technical skills to structure and analyze this data, and help our teams to get insights from it? Then we would like to welcome you as a Business Intelligence Developer to our team in Munich.

  • You are part of the Business Intelligence and Data Science Team and work with extremely talented, high-performing, and committed people
  • You work on the whole BI pipeline, from data ingestion to data warehousing and making the data available to different groups of users inside the company
  • You consult stakeholders on how they can best use data for their purposes in their specific business context
  • You are involved in strategic planning as well as technical decision-making to help us scale the system in the future
YOUR FITNESS LEVEL
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant subject complete your profile
  • You are experienced in working with ETL tooling, Data Warehouse models, and data visualization
  • You are a master of SQL and you have some experience in scripting languages (Python, R); skills in the Data Vault methodology are a plus
  • You are a fan of clean code and clear structure
  • You have strong communication skills and you’re able to explain complex concepts in simple terms
YOUR TRAINING GOAL FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS
  • You familiarized yourself with the EGYM ecosystem, the different sources and sinks of data, and the types of data we process
  • You are comfortable working with our BI infrastructure, including Matillion as our ETL tool, Snowflake and the Data Vault builder, as well as Tableau for visualizations
  • You worked with the first teams to build data marts and visualizations that help them to drive their business outcomes
  • You are part of our ongoing effort to improve data quality and consistency

  • Work with our modern cloud-based BI tech-stack, based on Matillion, Snowflake, and GCP/AWS
  • Use 10% of your time on learning topics of your choice (conferences, hackathons, internal and external events, videos, books or innovation projects)
