Highland Europe raises €1.1B Fund VI to Continue Backing Exceptional Founders at the Growth Stage

Growth-stage specialist Highland Europe announces its sixth fund of €1.1B and promotes two new Partners, on the back of generating over €1 billion of liquidity in 2026. The firm will continue backing Europe’s next generation of technology leaders.

Since 2012, Highland has raised €3.75 billion across six funds, invested in more than 80 companies, and guided 30 exits. Recent successes include the $3 billion sale of Nexthink to a private equity sponsor, the agreed sale of Huel to Danone, the $7.5 billion merger of EGYM and Playlist and the listing of Bending Spoons (NASDAQ: BSP) with a market capitalization of over $18 billion.

Fund V spans consumer and enterprise scale-ups, from smartphone designer Nothing and credit intelligence firm 9fin to healthcare AI assistant Nabla and AI orchestration platform n8n. Highland recently led the $70 million Series B for in-house legal AI platform Wordsmith, the $50 million Series B for enterprise AI delivery platform Unframe, and the $105 million Series D for precision-agriculture company Ecorobotix.

Highland investors Helena Richardson and Jacob Bernstein have been promoted to Partner. Helena joined Highland in 2016 and has backed companies including Ffern, ME+EM, Modulr and Huel. Jacob joined in 2017, and invests in enterprise companies including Unframe, Zero Networks, Oritain and Descartes Underwriting.
